November 8th 2016. I woke up at 6 am to vote at a small county church to vote for our Presidential canidiate . With this vote, I was worried and scared that I was wrong or incorrect about my decision. This was my first year voting as an American citizen. Voting is a privilege and right for me,because my father was born France and does not have citizenships, yet. My entire childhood my father spoke to me about how other countries don't even have the right to vote or state their opinion and we are so blessed in this country. The older I am the more I have noticed more and more complaining from American citizens. We forget so quickly how amazing our country is and the opportunities we have that other countries could not even fathom. Yes, I have wondered from the topic on hand, but it is more important to remember how amazing this country is when there is such a time of difference.

Time will tell if Donald Trump with change this country for the better or the worse. This country has been divided and stretch in many ways and directions, but we can only hope that some how people will begin to come together again regardless of our leader. We must remember that 50% of the American public would had been upset about this election regardless of who won. Just as JFK once said " And so, my fellow Americans, ask not what your country can do for you -- ask what you can do for your country." We have become selfish as Americans and blame many of the problems on politics, yet we are quick to forget that we are the ones that put them there. Donald Trump was choosen by the people to serve as Commander and Chief, and we must give him these 4 years to try.
